New Number Plate Regulations for the Year 2021

Vehicles that are hybrid or plug-in hybrid are not eligible.

When the United Kingdom departs the European Union on January 1, 2021, UK registered vehicles will no longer be able to display number plates with the GB EU flag. Drivers of vehicles with the GB EU mark will not be required to change it, but they will be required to display an oval GB sticker when driving in Europe.
